the STARS in THE attic

Alright :) Curiousity kills the cat.
Shawna i am honored you think my blog looks like a rollerskating rink- I always loved those (especially when they had that disco ball glow in the middle with the lights off).

Today Yuda and I went to see Madagasscar- I am waiting for a hit from there. Best part of the film [if you're forced to see it] the neurotic germa-phobic giraffe and the militarisitc SPF hungry penguins :) I swear some people truly resemble animals.

After the movie Yuda and I went out for pizza and i watched pregnant woman after pregnant woman walk by. Beautiful but slightly unnerving. Like a sci-film where everyone just wakes up pregnant (men too i am afraid) Nehama you'll have to verify if such a movie actually exists. And yes the season definitely has something to do with it. Its mating season in the animal kingdom!! Through out all of history people have celebrated spring "Sumer is Icumen".... :) Still i'll continue this chat in the posts.

Princess Fergie and I got some great pics yesterday in Manhattan of Fleet Week- She has this Sex in the City fantasy going {there's that word again} cute sister-in-law of mine :) eek. She wants to put the pics up, perhaps we shall after work of day is completed. speaking of which...
mahalo friends and i suppose... mates.

Hindy!
Why do you always give away trade secrets? Know this: the system is fallible. I've had a hit that listed as Edison, NJ, and in truth it was from Empire Blvd. Besides, who cares who reads the blog anyway?

throughout history people have always celebrated the springtime as a time of rebirth, because that is when the earth actually does renew itself and they banked on that renewal. sex in the spring was probably a by-product of some sort. animals are part of the earth, they procreate in their natural habitats, where incidentally, winter isnt a very fun time to mate. so they mate in the spring. lets not compare humans and animals. regards from france:)

I am glad you are entertained- as you're entertaining me :)
Right you are!! Spring is the renewal season. In fact many cultures (pagan ones particularly) hold all sorts of interesting rituals in which the sky literally 'mates' with the earth. Many still reenact the mating of sky (male- Uranus) and earth (female- Gaia). Because it is a season of production, of growth, of life... blah blah- we have the animals' birthing season. (lord did that sound 'know it all like' i am sorry i don't know where that came from)

I am not comparing people to animals (although gotta admit in certain elements we are members of the kingdom) hmm.. winter's no fun-seems more like a cheap heating method to me :)
okay i am gonna stop while i am ahead especially when i don't know which very nice good people in Australia or which unemployed entropies are reading this
still this seems like a circular conversation tp ,e.
I can't trace ip addresses- i must confess i really have no interest. This blog is right now keeping me way too busy (i missed yoga today :( and now i am feeling a bit knotted)
i am looking for a muse? think you can handle it?

the pagan religions? jewish mysticism is overflowing with male female mating harmony. initially there were no pagans. no idol worshippers. no monkey business:). everything derives from the original. go directly to where the pagans got their ideas from. please post commentary before/after or even beside your poetry. i do not understand a single syllable. muse for what?

you are ruining my night.
I must know you from somewhere- like you are either s/o playing with me (which is fine cuz i respect those that can do it well) or some random visitor from my past life.
and yes, from Chochma/Bina Adam/Chava, Sky/Sea and down, mysticism is loaded with the image.
how could someone as intelligable as yourself not understand some measely scribbled verses? come on! and muse has no requirements but to be muse-ish- keep the Flow from getting stagnant ;)

im kind of kidding thou not entirely. poetry is nonsense to me. i see neither the point nor the beauty when im not in the mood, which is most of my life. but ill read it again and try really hard to see the depth:) oh hell ill just be nice and say HOW LOVELY/INSPIRING/INSIGHTFUL/MEANINGFUL/TRANQUIL/AWESOME/ hold on i gotta go to dictionary.com and find some more synonyms. ok amazing/astonishing/breathtaking/magnificent/majestic/wondrous/thrilling. just playing around. it really is very nice:)

Spindle - mahalo for dropping the french and going with straight hawai'ian. Now at least I can pronounce the depths of what you say, if I can't sound'm.

ps why do girls talk about marriage so much instead of rapping about babies? sorry, but they're generally much more fun, and are cuter at a greater clip to boot.

Anyone know why we say pirkei avos in the spring time....?

11:44 PM
Blogger HindiK said...

well anonymous
no comment for you.
the cliche answer for why we say pirkei avos in the spring (at least according to BR) is to remember how to behave accordingly (and dress appropriately) in the spring time.... other than that i have no idea.

Hello hindonesian. Great to see that you keep us all on our toes. The faithful responders.... And anonymous, at least when going anonymous choose a cool incognito name. Don't leave Hindy in her misery lying in her yellow or not so yellow room anymore, pondering your true identity. Well Hindy, summer's approaching... hope you are ready.

The reason we say pirkei avos is to curb the natural desire of the guff which is b'tkifus in the summer time.
(this is in response to the "birds and bees" conversation.)
